ORTHOPAEDIC PHYSIOTHERAPY IN OTTAWA, ONTARIO
What is orthopaedic physiotherapy?
At Femade, our practitioners use a bio-psycho-social approach that provides you with more understanding of the symptoms you are experiencing and assists you in returning to meaningful activities in your life. Your symptoms may be originating from one or a variety of locations, may be linked to an accident or illness, and may be acute or persistent. Our physiotherapists take the time to understand your body as a whole and work to help you build your confidence in (re)introducing safe and gentle movement.
The goal of physiotherapy is to improve your movement, function, and wellbeing, all while encouraging you to be an active participant in the process. Using a variety of approaches and techniques, such as education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise, our practitioners will collaborate with you to build the confidence you have in your body and reach your personal goals. Whether you are experiencing pain that is all too familiar or starting to notice new symptoms, our practitioners are able to help you care for and take control of your body.
We take an active approach to physiotherapy – helping you discover the tools you need to learn about your body and move comfortably so that you can feel confident in managing your symptoms outside of the clinic. Our physiotherapists use hands-on approaches to help facilitate movement, provide activity/exercise counselling, and work to create a collaborative client-therapist relationship.
